A working session

Introduction

The following is essentially a cut and paste of a typical CVS session. (Only the names and places have been, mostly, changed to protect the innocent.)

You would probably not Checkout the Source at every session. That step is included for completeness.

Typically a work cycle would go like this:

  1. Add new files and directories ( if you actually have New Files) to the Repository

  2. Commit those and / or you other modifications

  3. Archive your Working Source

  4. Update your Working Source

  5. Announce your Commit and Adds to your fellow developers at tenforty

  6. Hack the Updated source

You shell prompt is represented like this:
[A-Hacker@work]$
and this
<PassWord4Login>
means you need to enter your sourceforge tenforty Developers Login Name Password.
